WWF’s brand ambassador Arjun to campaign for ‘Earth Hour’ 2015 in Delhi on 28th March
India’s youth icon and Bollywood’s latest sensation Arjun
Kapoor is all set to pledge his support for the ‘Earth Hour’ 2015 in
association with WWF on 28th March at the Green Fair in Central Park, Connaught
Place at 8.30pm.
Earth Hour is the world’s biggest celebration for planet
earth – every year millions of people across the globe switch off their lights
to raise awareness about the climate change and this year will be no different.
Arjun will be championing this cause for the second year in a row as he is very
passionate about the cause and is dogged in his pursuit to influence young
minds, inspire people and bring about positive change. The campaign urges
everyone to turn off their lights and electronic gadgets for an hour as a stand
against climate change.
Other activities which will also be a part of Green Fair
includes – Kid’s upcycling workshop, Avahan live concert, upcycling workshop
for Adults, Then and Now live concert, For Earth Hour Competition, Performance
by Urshila Dance Academy Art; and will start from 12 noon onwards.
