Tere Bin Laden' producer considering re-release of movie...

According to the latest buzz in the industry, Pooja Shetty Deora - the producer of the Osama-spoof, “Tere Bin Laden” is considering a re-release in cinema halls and on satellite channels. The interest was apparent due to the recent killing of Osama Bin Laden in Pakistan. Though a spoof, if one went by the story line, it was in a way shown him to be holed up in Pakistan - albeit that was just a close double.

It seems the film's producer Pooja Shetty Deora is trying to contact her distributors regarding the re-release of this film as she wants to cash in on this rich cow for re-milking. But whether the public really wants to see the film in theatres all over again is another story.

Directed by Abhishek Sharma, "Tere Bin Laden" is a tongue-in-cheek comedy about an ambitious young news reporter from Pakistan who is desperate to migrate to the US in pursuit of the American dream. His repeated attempts to immigrate are shot down as his visa is always rejected. But when things couldn't look worse, he comes across an Osama bin Laden look alike. Ali then hatches a scheme to produce a fake Osama video and sell it to news channels as a breakthrough scoop! Unfortunately there are serious ramifications as the White House gets involved and dispatches an overzealous secret agent on Ali's trail.
