AI-generated images of Sushant Singh Rajput go viral: Some happy others criticize...

On June 14, one of the most loved actors of his generation, Sushant Singh Rajput passed for his heavenly abode three years back. While the actor is surely missed, emotional tributes have been pouring in from fans who remember the actor for his acting prowess and talent. However, that isn’t all. His legion of fans always keeps finding unique ways to keep his memories alive and make his name trend on social media.

One such fan, who is also an AI artist and goes by the name of Sahixd on Instagram has caught everyone’s attention. From a king to a soldier to a detective and a space astronaut, he has created AI generated images of the late Sushant Singh Rajput using Midjourney AI & Adobe Photoshop. Posting it on SSR’s death anniversary on his social media account that goes by the name of Sahixd on Instagram, he mentioned, “If the multiverse is real, he lives. Remembering Sushant Singh Rajput on his death anniversary.”

Meanwhile another such fan, who is also popular as his doppelganger, took the help of AI to create an almost identical replica of his face and shared it on social media. The user, who goes by the name Donim Ayaan (@donim.ayaan1513) shared his video on instagram garnering thousands of instant likes and follows to his account. As his video went viral, it has also sparked a controversy questioning the boundaries of ethical content creation. While many netizens appreciated and turned emotional that their SSR is back it seems, many have criticized the same.

Bollywood star, television actor, author and presenter known for his works predominantly in Hindi and Telugu cinema, Sushant Singh Rajput made his screen debut with Ram Gopal Varma's Satya followed by Jungle, receiving critical acclaim for portraying slain bandit Durgaa Narayan Chaudhary. He won the IIFA Award and Zee Cine Award for Best Performance in a Negative Role for the same. He however became a household name with Balaji’s Pavitra Rishtra and had a phenomenal launch in Bollywood with Kai Po Che. The actor had been a part of hit films like Shuddh Desi Romance, PK, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Raabta, Kedarnath, and Chhichhore. Dil Bechara was his last film that was released on an OTT platform after his death. He has co-authored the book Queens of Crime with Kulpreet Yadav.
