What happens when 2 Karan's of Bollywood come together?? The result is a movie that is all about revenge. Yes! We are talking of "Agneepath" produced by Karan Johar and directed by Karan Malhotra. The official one and half minute promo that got released today is in short - Mind Blowing. Incidentally, this teaser precedes the theatrical trailer of Agneepath that will release with Ra.One this Diwali.
While the new Agneepath has main characters like Vijay Dinanath Chauhan (Hrithik Roshan) and Kancha (Sanjay Dutt), both the Karan's have incorporated some new introductions which goes well with the storyline as well gives it a new twist. The character played by Rishi Kapoor is one such that is introduced in this newer version. Even the lead protagonists love story (Priyanka Chopra-Hrithik Roshan ) looks entirely fresh with no resonance to the Madhavi-Amitabh track of the 1990 version and looks much in tune with the times. But one thing can be said for sure, that Sanju Baba as Kancha Cheena looks more menacing and deadlier than the Kancha played by Danny Denzongpa. Going by the promos, this is sure to make it to the blockbusters in early 2012 as the film will be released on January 13th, the same day as Hrithik’s first film “Kaho Na Pyaar Hai” released 12 years ago.
