HBO South Asia partners with MAMI to usher in the much awaited 16th Mumbai Film Festival

After several weeks of suspense, drama and hand-wringing comes the crowd-pleasing climax: the 16th Mumbai Film Festival will ink its mark on Mumbai's cultural calendar from 14th to 21st October, 2014. This year, HBO South Asia has partnered with the 16th edition of the Mumbai Film Festival organized by the Mumbai Academy of Moving Image (MAMI) to bring an informative Master Class with acclaimed French actor Catherine Deneuve.

Catherine Deneuve, known for her iconic roles in films such as Repulsion (1965), Belle de Jour (1967) and Tristana (1970), and more recently in Dancer in the Dark (2000) and 8 Women (2002), will also be conferred with the Lifetime Achievement award at the 16th Mumbai Film Festival. The festival will screen a selection of her movies to pay a befitting tribute to this coveted film actor.

The Master Class presented by HBO Premium Channels will see renowned author and film critic Anupama Chopra in conversation with Catherine Deneuve as well as Bollywood Diva Deepika Padukone, which will be held on Wednesday, 15th October, 2014 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m at Cinemax, Versova.
