Discussion on Haryanvi culture resulted in breaking the ice between me and Saqib Saleem says actor Amit Pahel

Last seen in ‘Kathmandu Connection 2’, Actor Amit Pahel has again made audiences mesmerised with his amazing acting skills in the recently released ‘Crackdown Season 2’. His character Sanjay Shah aka Firoz, hides his real identity as a music teacher with an aim to kill Indians. The series stars Saqib Saleem, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Iqbal Khan, Freddy Daruwala, Waluscha De Sousa and Ankur Bhatia in the lead roles.

Amit bonded really well with the actor Saqib Saleem on set, courtesy to their mutual love for Haryana. Speaking on the same, he revealed “Saqib and I bonded over Haryana and its culture. Me coming from Haryanvi background and Saqib who has a lot of friends back there in Rohtak, we had so much to talk about and it resulted breaking the ice between us. When I first met Saqib on our first reading session, I was mesmerized by his aura. He has such a positive attitude towards everything. After the reading session I went up to meet him. When I said hello, he in return greeted me with “Bhai”, it was so kind and generous of him to say that. I felt that I know him since ever. When we got onto the floor, I learned so many things from Saqib such as how to be calm while shooting because sometimes it can be a very intimidating place to be at. Especially when we’re shooting some intense sequences from the series, he helped everyone to stay calm with his witty nature and great sense of humour. We also talked about the nuances that are required for the action sequence because it was my first time with such a project with so much action in it.”

“I told him about my upcoming projects and asked him for some advice. Without any hesitation he suggested a few very good insights that are definitely gonna help me in future. Not for a moment did he make me feel that he is a big star. He’s an extraordinary co-actor. One would feel so secure while shooting with him. He lets you be and if anything goes wrong, he’s there to help you. At last, I would like to say he's a gem of a person.” Pahel concluded.
