The wait is finally over. 'The Night Manager' Season 2 that had been
gearing up for its release finally starts streaming on Disney+ Hotstar today. Adapted
into a Hindi version by The Ink Factory and Banijay Asia, the makers of the
show released the show before the scheduled time. Earlier, it was shared that
the show would be released on June 30.
Created by Sandeep Modi and directed by Priyanka Ghose, this famous
series is based on John le Carré's, 'The Night Manager'.
The trailer that was released a couple of days earlier, provided a
glimpse into the events of the previous season and builds anticipation for what
lies ahead. Setting the stage for a thrilling and action-packed season as
Shelly (Anil Kapoor) and Shaan (Aditya Roy Kapur) team up, the alliance of
Shaan and Shailendra (Shelly) promises to shake up established systems, and
spin a new web of conspiracies and deception. While Shaan’s character is
prepared for his mission, but he is sure to encounter unexpected challenges
while attempting to expose Shelly and his illegal activities. It will be
intriguing to see what unfolds in the second season of the show.
The series boasts of an ensemble cast of Anil Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sobhita Dhulipala, Tillotama Shome, Saswata Chatterjee, and Ravi Behl who received rave responses for their respective performances. In the first season, the story revolved around Shaan Sengupta, a former Navy officer who takes on a job as a night manager at luxury hotels in the hospitality sector. Years later, he is recruited to spy on a man whose alleged sinister plans resulted in the death of a young girl in Dhaka, a tragedy he witnessed but couldn't prevent.
