With the release of Step Up All In on 29th August '14- the
fifth installment in the biggest and hottest dance movie franchise of all time;
and Mad About Dance on 22nd August
everyone is breathing, living and talking about dance! Dance is a passion that
evokes emotion, angst and dedication and it requires a great deal of
perseverance to make it a profession. Both movies releasing back to back in
August focus on the youth, their dreams, anxieties, disappointments and hopes
for their future and of course Dance. In Step Up All In it’s an all-star cast
with your favorite characters ‘Moose, Eddie, Camille, Alexxa, Hair and Jason
and their mind blowing dance moves from previous instalments returning to
create a storm on the dance floor coming together to collaborate for a VH1
competition called "The Vortex" which may give them a chance to win a
3 year contract to perform at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. With MAD a young
Indian lad trying to make it big in the world of dance in the UK fighting
against bigotry and proving his passion for dance.
The other common streak in both movies is an ultimate dance
showdown which will make or break their careers of the protagonist’s In STEP UP
ALL IN the final dance off at the Vortex
is exceptional with mind blowing choreography which reminds you once
again of the calibre of the series and why it is a favourite of choreographers
across the globe. Back home M.A.D which stars Saahil Prem and Amrit Maghera
also has a final showdown at the National dance off competition with a
patriotic feel proving once and for all that Indians can dance (DID not
withstanding)!
