LISFF joins hands with Jammu Kashmir International Film Festival

After successfully tying up with several film festivals in the past and promoting the festival there, Lakecity International Short Film Festival (LISFF) has tied hands with Jammu Kashmir International Film Festival. JKIFF 2014 is the first ever International Film Festival to be held at Srinagar under government tutelage and is being supported by J&K Tourism. Providing a forum and a place for promotion of LISIFF at Srinagar, we will be going that extra mile to invite our award winning entries at the JKIFF festival and vice versa.

Quoting on this tie up, Ankit Tandon, Festival Programmer - LISSF says, “It’s a great honour for us at LISFF to have a strategic tie-up with JKIFF where we are going to promote our festival. We are going to use this set-up for exchange of ideas and information to make our festival better as well as help JKIFF in gaining its foothold by promoting the same on our website and amongst our participants as well.”

“The LISFF which started off as an International Short Film Festival will be having a major revamp and adding feature films also in its fold. From this year onwards LISFF will turn LIFF - Lakecity International Film Festival and will be catering to not only short films, documentaries and public service films but also provide a platform for feature films as well.”

LISFF in the past has had tie ups with the Imphal International Short Film Festival 2013, Darbhanga International Film Festival (DIFF). Cortokino Short Film Festival, Fundamental 2013, Bengal Web Fair 2013, Aahan Film Festival 2014 & Frames Film Festival 2014.
