Move aside KICK, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” rakes in 574 Cr at the International Box Office

Paramount Pictures’ action adventure film ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle’ (TMNT) has been garnering rave reviews since its international release earlier this month. Enthralling the global audience, TMNT raked in Rs 574 Cr at the international Box Office.

Indian audiences are awaiting the release of the film in India with baited breath. Social networks are abuzz with talk of the Turtle brothers Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo and Raphael. The turtles were first introduced to India through televised cartoon series in the 90s. Viewers across the nation have been highly influenced by the comments of international audiences on the incredible VFX and extraordinary acting by the star cast. Megan Fox as April O’Neal and Will Arnett as Vern Fenwick have given mind blowing performances. They have made a mark despite the overpowering action and rib-tickling antics of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles at their best.

Directed by Jonathan Liebesman, ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ is based on the cartoon characters created by Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman. Starring actors Megan Fox, Will Arnett and Whoopi Goldberg, it is produced by Paramount Pictures, Nickelodeon Movies, Michael Bay, Andrew Form, Brad Fuller, Galen Walker, Scott Mednick and Ian Bryce. The TMNT movie will be released by Viacom18 Motion Pictures in India on August 29, 2014.
