The annual event of Chitrabani, in
collaboration with Nandan, West Bengal Film Center: Kolkata Short Film
Festival, 10th edition, will begin on December 2 and will go on till December
7. The six-day long Short Film Festival will showcase the best of short films
from across the country and from abroad.
Generally a bouquet of some 75 films are
screened each year, out of some 120 films received by Chitrabani Screening
Committee. As usual, Chitrabani takes the responsibility
for organizing the program, in collaboration with Nandan, West Bengal Film
Center, while all the screenings will be held at Nandan 2 hall. The festival will have two screenings each
day, the first one starting at 3.30 pm, and the second one at 6 pm. All
screenings will be over by 8 pm.
As in the previous year, all entry forms will
have to be submitted online, and the DVD copies for preview and final
screenings will have to be submitted at Chitrabani counter. The same may also
be sent by courier / registered post. However Chitrabani will not take responsibility
for the loss of the same in transit.
