Delegate registrations open for the 16th Mumbai Film Festival

Mumbai’s most awaited 16th edition of Mumbai Film Festival organized by Mumbai Academy of Moving Image (MAMI) to kick start from 14th to 21st October 2014. Showcasing the best films of international and Indian cinema, the festival now opens delegate registration.

The registration process can be made online on the film festival’s website at www.mumbaifilmfest.org The delegates registering online will subsequently receive a confirmation through e mail. This year the Festival has made arrangements for sms and e-mail alerts about delegate card pickups, on-line seat reservation system for screenings during the festival and important festival communication for registered delegates.

Registration charges for various categories of delegates are as under:
 Students – Rs. 1000/-
All other delegates Rs. 1500/-
Media registration can also be done online by visiting the Mumbai Film Festival site above.

Student Delegates must carry their college ID card for verification at the time of collection of catalogue and or delegate cards.

This year’s annual film fiesta is supported by Cinestaan Film Company, promoted by Anand Mahindra and Rohit Khattar, producer Manish Mundra, industry stalwarts Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Bhushan Kumar, Actors Aamir Khan, Farhan Akhtar, Shahid Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Rajkumar Rao, Rahul Bose, directors Karan Johar, Rajkumar Hirani, Anurag Kashyap, Hansal Mehta, designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, producer Vivek Kajaria, industrialists Niraj Bajaj, Sandeep Raheja, Yogesh Lakhani of Bright Outdoor, Filmmaker Shakun Batra , Ford Foundation and noted author and critic Anupama Chopra and several more film patrons and movie lovers. Leading jewelry designer Varuna D Jani will specially design the trophies for this year’s edition of the Mumbai Film Festival.
