Jaipur International Film Festival inviting entries for 2012..

Though film festivals have now become a regular affair in most countries yet most of these cater only to a select audiences as well as commercially successful film makers and film personalities. However, the Jaipur International Film Festival (JIFF) intends to organize a festival that connects the common man with the film world, especially the small film makers and their associates so as to bring about greater understanding of the art of film making.

Growing steadily in the last four years since its inception in 2009, JIFF is held every year now for 5 days from 27-31 January in Jaipur. With an aim and objective to host and promote the festival as a people’s event; striving to attain a stature and niche of its own on the world platform in future, JIFF is now having an honor of organizing World’s Fabulous Red Carpet award ceremony from last year.

The purpose of this film festival is to promote newer movie makers, exchange of knowledge, information, ideas & culture between India and other nations in context of their social and cultural ethos. JIFF also promotes friendship and co-operation among people of the world through the medium of films & documentaries.
